HOT ROD Power Tour 2017 Is Presented By Chevrolet Performance And Driven By Continental Tire
Power Tour is all about driving–be it on the road, or the track. Yesterday’s stop at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA, gave participants their first chance to test the handling prowess of their cars on the autocross course. The challenge was accepted by late-models, muscle cars and hot rods alike. Competitors dodged cones and raced against the clock for the fastest lap of the day, pushing their rides to the limit in a fast, fun, and safe environment. Still to come on this year’s route are two days of drag racing, another autocross and––of course–– a mandatory burnout contest.
