Lightweight Dry-Sump Pumps

What it is: Moroso’s dry-sump pumps available for three-, four-, five-, and six-stage fuel-pump drives.
Why you care: With a spur gear pressure section based off Moroso’s billet wet-sump pump design and built-in variable spring rates that optimize 1.200 oil pressures for reliable readings, the rear 3/8-inch hex fuel pump drives have a 1:1 ratio to accept 1.450 ID, three-bolt, fuel pump swivel clamps. The tri-lobe aluminum 1.700 scavenge sections, available in multiple No. 16 outlet options, allow for increased flow back to the dry-sump tank and/or fitment requirement, depending on the application. An added benefit is the reduction in weight, with nearly half the bulk of geroter pumps, and it requires up to 40-percent less power to drive. Designed with a driver-side/left-side door-car-style bracket, all fittings are included for the three-, four-, five-, and six-stage kits.
How much: Approximately $1,450 to $2,560, depending on the application
