Not even the scorching heat and stifling humidity could keep the die hard fans away from Beech Bend Raceway Park for the first day of the Chevrolet Performance Car Craft Summer Nationals 2017. This was our first day at the new home of our show, Bowling Green, Kentucky, and this is the first time in recent history that the Summer Nationals has been held at a dragstrip. Even though track conditions were less than ideal, participants still took to the track. Drag Week winner Jeff Lutz even made a pass in his Mad Max Camaro.
