HOT ROD October 2017 Print Issue Sneak Peek

The theme for the October 2017 issue of HOT ROD is “One of None,” car builds that represent cars that Detroit never actually built, but could have. Take a sneak peek of what the issue has to offer before it breaks on newsstands.

Z/409 combines the 1969 Camaro’s signature wide body with the powerplant, interior, and bubbletop style from a 1962 Impala.

Pontiac never built a two-door A-body wagon in 1964, and they never built a GTO wagon at all, but with help from Chevelle and Tempest donor cars, this two-door GTO wagon is a reality.

Mopar’s E-body was used for the Barracuda and Challenger, both coupes. But the platform was based on their midsize B-body that included sedan and wagon bodystyles. What if Plymouth had built an E-body Cuda with four doors? It surely would have looked like this.
