OTB Gear

Let It Breathe
Looks cool and works great on smooth or finned valve covers, OTB Gear recently introduced an innovative update to the 90-degree valve cover breather. This creative new approach includes internal baffles to control oil splash, and these cleverly engineered parts have a baffle and body cavity design that allows for full drainage at a forward or backward angle of 45 degrees; this means you have the option of mounting the breather on the outside of the valve cover. Cast caps held in place by inconspicuous setscrews for a clean look. CNC machining that provides precisely located mounting holes and available finned or finless and polished or natural aluminum finishes.

Speedhut

Speedhut Speedbox
Speedhut, manufacturer of custom-built automotive gauges, released a compact device that operates a cable-driven mechanical speedometer with no calibration or complex gearing needed. Keep original your stock speedometer. The device, known as the Speedbox, is a simple plug-and-play solution that uses an electric speed signal from GPS, CANbus, transmission, or ECM to operate a cable-driven speedometer. Considered to be the easiest speedometer conversion around, the small box never requires calibration, is extremely easy to install, and can fit in the palm of your hand. Speedhut wanted to give their customers the ability to upgrade their original speedometers.

Fatman Fabrications

Low-Fat Chevy
Fatman Fabrications just announced dropped spindles for the 1958-1964 full-size Chevys that provide better brakes and a 2-1/2-inch drop while retaining the stock GM front suspension. Fatman machines the laser cut assembly so that the spindle bolts directly to the stock Chevy tie-rod end and control arms. Late ’90s GM 12-inch-diameter disc brake rotors with a 4-3/4-inch bolt pattern make it easy to match the stock GM rear axle bolt pattern. These are part of a new line of dropped disc brake spindles Fatman is developing for the first of the ball joint–type IFS GM full-size cars.
