It was announced while we were wondering through the Coker Tire Tribute to the 60th anniversary of the 1957 Chevrolet that 2,717 cars, Corvettes and trucks are now entered. That’s something. But what’s really cool is the tribute area sponsored by Coker Tire for the ’57 Chevy located directly behind the tower in the “bull ring”.
Granted there are plenty of ‘57s to see all over the Beech Bend Raceway Park grounds but to see a couple dozen stockers and some lightly modified examples showing off what it must have been like back in the day is truly cool.
Sit back and enjoy the 3rd Annual Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals hosted by the American Tri-Five Association in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the fabled Beech Bend Raceway Park…where they haven’t painted the covered bleacher seats since the mid-‘60s or so it would seem. But we love it.
