It’s a show. It’s also drags. If you want an all-inclusive look at SoCal car culture, Mooneyes makes it happen with its open-invite policy. The result is a group of choppers, lowriders, street machines, and drag cars parked together like some kind of automotive truce had been called. It’s sort of family oriented and it’s sort of a mix between the Pomona Swap Meet and a Thursday night of open test-and-tune. Get there in the morning or you will never get parking, get there a few days early if you hope to get a car into the show. It’s packed, like Japan, maybe that’s why Mooneyes owner Shige Suganuma keeps it where it is. But enough talk, flip through this collection of edibles and be sure to look at our gallery from Mooneyes Rod & Custom show from Japan.
