Now in its eighth year, the GRIP Seminars Presented by Circle Track is set for another weekend of discussion-style and hands-on learning. The seminars will take place February 2-4, 2018 at the Mooresville Citizens Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Last year the seminars shifted focus from the lecture and discussion type of learning to more hands-on learning. Because this was so well-received by attendees, GRIP will follow the same format again this year. Classroom sessions will take place during the day. They will be followed by After Hours events in the evenings.

Some of the topics GRIP has finalized for this year’s seminars are: Setup Basics, Driveline with Rex Garrett from Earnhardt Technologies Group, Aerodynamics with Gary Eaker from Aerodyn on Friday. Saturday brings Geometry with Bob Simmons at Morse Measurements, Bump Stops, Sway Bar, Wiring, and Springs. On Sunday topics include Radios and Safety with Kevin Hughes from Racing Electronics, Track Tuning, Shocks and Suspension with Jeff Ryan from JRi, Motors, and a final roundtable discussion.

After Hours events include hands-on time at the A2 Wind Tunnel. Other events are still in the planning stage. CTW Automation will also be on hand during the lunch hours on Friday and Saturday doing shock/spring dyno testing demonstrations.

Prior to the seminars, racers and teams can visit PRI Booth 4544 to discuss the GRIP Seminars. There will also be a free mini-seminar during PRI on Thursday, December 7 at 9:30 a.m. in room 211.

Special ticket pricing – which includes hotel stay – is available until November 1. For more information visit www.gripseminars.com
