Although it’s been out for a few days, there is no denying the obvious trend of the Internet breaking every time Ken Block and the Hoonigans put out a new piece of content. The world to absorbs it like one gigantic sponge that loves to soak up burning rubber and extremely built cars being piloted in one of the most masterful ways on the planet.
Despite the Climbkhana video dropping back in late September and having more than eight million views, the Hoonigans have smashed another pie tin in the face of the automotive world with the release of the trailer for Gymkhana Ten, which according to Ken Block himself “has to be the biggest and the best.” In case you missed out on the video dropping before the weekend, check it out here!
The next Gymkhana installment will now take place in more than one location with a different car used for each one. What is very exciting is if you look close enough, it looks like the new build for this video is a mid-1960s Ford truck with two turbos raised above the hood line. This is an entirely new vehicle to be used for Gymkhana, and is sure to present exciting, new challenges for Ken and open new doors for creativity.
This teaser is cut masterfully, soliciting the most amount of hype possible from the audience. Interviews with the likes of Rob Dyrdek and Jeff Zwart are sprinkled in between gratuitous amounts of smoke and revs. Other than the truck mentioned above, it looks like we will be seeing more of the Hoonicorn along with a Ford Escort. The other vehicles have yet to be seen.
Now that this trailer is out we can’t say we’re not excited to see Gymkhana 10 next year.
