Mast Motorsports is well known in the GM LS world for their line of bulletproof and powerful crate engines and parts, but company owner Horace Mast has finally seen the light and is getting into the Ford Coyote market.
The engine on display in Mast’s booth here at SEMA is a 5.4L VooDoo handbuilt piece, being developed in conjunction with Cortex Racing (CortexRacing.com) and uses a Ford block, Callies crank and rods, Mahle pistons, CNC-ported GT350 heads, a Ford Racing intake and throttle body, and a Dailey 5-stage dry sump system. It should hit the dyno in a few weeks, and when it does we’ll bring it to you here.
