It has been quite some time since we last checked in on ol’ Large Marge, Jason Lewis’ home-built 1973 Mustang coupe, so when we politely asked him WTF, Jason shot this video update on his car, which gave him his first opportunity to get it off the jack stands and check out the stance that all the Total Control Products suspension goodies gave the car.
In case you’re new to Mustang-360.com or it has been awhile since you’ve been here, Marge started life as a driver ’73 coupe sourced from Craigslist by videographer Jason Lewis (if you watch Dirt Every Day or Roadkill on Motor Trend on Demand, he’s usually one of the guys behind the camera). Jason is also an experienced racer and fabricator, so it was no surprise that he wouldn’t leave the car alone for long.
Below are links to all the previous Large Marge installments to catch you up, and here Jason updates us on what he has done and what he still has left to do to the car, and gets giddy while walking around it on the street in front of his house. We’re a little bit giddy too, since the plan once the car is running and sorted out is to take it to an open track day at Willow Springs or Buttonwillow Raceways in Southern California and beat it like a rented mule. All in the name of science, of course.
