The Los Angeles Auto Show (LA Auto Show) is here for an astonishing 110th time! Being the first major North American auto show of the season each year it has become the go-to place for manufacturers to show off their latest and greatest products that are slated to hit the market in the coming months.

This cutaway NASCAR engine is sitting in the Toyota booth next to this year’s championship-winning car driven by Martin Truex Jr.

One might expect a car show to be simply about the cars, but at the LA Auto Show manufacturers bring out all the stops to draw people into their booths. Each year the displays themselves get more and more elaborate with crazy lights, x-wing fighters, and strange shapes hanging overhead as well as vehicles perched atop a variety of contraptions. High-class coffee and scrumptious finger foods are handed out to anyone who gets within arm’s reach. Virtual reality simulators and bizarre concept vehicles encourage people to linger just a little bit longer. It is truly a spectacle, but one that’s certainly fun to be a part of.

While it can be easy to be overwhelmed by it all, we were able to pick a few standout displays from the show. Galpin Auto Sports has a great area full of custom rides with some vintage race cars parked out front, “THE GARAGE” Powered by Prestone is full of customized rides both modern and classic, and Chevrolet brought out their full line-up including the all new Corvette ZR1 coupe and convertible [click here for more:2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1]

The 2019 Corvette ZR1 convertible was debuted a few days ago at the press days of the LA Auto Show and features a supercharged LT5 6.2L supercharged V8 producing 755 horsepower.

The LA Auto Show 2017 will be open to the public from December 1st to the 10th, and whether iyou’re there for hassle-free vehicle shopping, to experiencing the latest technology, or to explore an assortment of customized rides and exotics, there is something for everyone. Tickets start at $5 for children ages 6-12 (kids under 5 are free with paying adult), and $12-15 for adults, so take the whole family, or just click through this ginormous gallery and act like you went!
