Week To Wicked 2013 Mustang: Day 2

We’re well into day two of the Continental Presents Mustang360 Week To Wicked build. During the first day we began the ROUSH Phase 2 supercharger installation by removing the front fascia; incidentally, this also presented the perfect opportunity to install a ROUSH grille, high-flow lower fascia opening, and front splitter including the lower fog light kit for a much more aggressive look that’s also completely functional.

Fast-forward to today and the ROUSH Phase 2 supercharger is completely installed and we were able to fire it up with minimal effort. We also want to note when purchasing this package, this is a turnkey system that utilizes quality components. Case in point, you can expect to receive a R2300 supercharger that features Eaton’s TVS technology; a high-efficiency intercooler setup; a twin 60mm throttle-body and throttle-body spacer; high flow fuel rail with 47 lb/hr injectors; 85mm pulley; and best of all, it produces 625 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque with a three-year and 36,000-mile parts limited warranty (*ROUSH supplied parts only).

In addition to the supercharger, we installed a JLT Performance oil separator 3.0 and a color-matched Big Air cold air induction system featuring a 123mm inlet and all the necessary hardware for an easy install. Knowing we had the power we were craving, we also wanted to complete the aesthetics underneath the hood. JLT Performance had the answer by color matching several of the components in Ingot Silver, including coil covers, Redline Tuning bolt-in hood lifters, coolant and intercooler tank covers, along with a hydro-dipped carbon fiber fuse box and radiator cover.
