More builders are powering their classic Fords with Coyote engines and the aftermarket is keeping up with a growing amount of parts. The wires attach to the engine and transmission using the factory ECM. 05. Pulley Performance
Finding factory steel pulleys for Ford 289 and 302 engines is getting harder. Vintage Air has addressed this issue by developing new billet aluminum crankshaft and water pump pulleys for this specific Ford application. The easy-to-install, double-groove pulley system was engineered with attention to strength and straightness for increased belt life and reduced vibration. The new pulleys are machined from high-strength billet aluminum, just like Vintage Air’s Front Runner system. An anodized hard coat finish gives them the look of OEM parts. There will be two pulleys available: the water pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley, which is drilled for three bolts.
