Freiburger is ingrained in the muscle car era, but Finnigan started chopping and dragging mini-trucks across California’s highways in his early days. In this episode of Roadkill, presented by Dodge, F-n-F roadtrip back a hellacious Datsun minitruck — a bagged, chopped, and body-dropped terror.
Of course, there’s a few detours: The duo met up with Fred Williams of Dirt Every Day for a little swap-a-roo between one of the tallest and shortest project trucks we’ve seen on our Motor Trend YouTube channel. Then Freiburger checks out a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner to replace one that he bought at 19. What can we learn from this? Don’t listen to your parents when they scream “SELL IT!”
