Charlotte Motor Speedway calls the AutoFair the world’s largest automotive extravaganza. It’s an epic four-day event that engulfs the 1.5-mile oval. From more than 50 classic car clubs, 10,000 vendor spaces, 1,500 car corral vehicles and 50 acres of swap meet, it’s an event east coasters look forward to twice a year.
Returning for its 41st year, the Pennzoil AutoFair presented by Advance Auto Parts was held last weekend, April 5-8. Designed with family-fun in mind, the weekend featured drifting from East10Drift, the first annual Pennzoil burnout contest, an epic indoor display of movie cars, and a 100th anniversary Chevy truck display.
Mark Oja, A-team leader on Velocity Channel’s Overhaulin’ and owner of California Speed & Custom, was a special speaker with 3M and a guest judge from the show.
