The 55th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Chicago World of Wheels may be coming synonymous with the highly sought after Legend Cup, but the show is also “the” venue for the crowning of the year-long Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series ISCA Championship Finals (ISCA Championship Finals for short!). This is the award the diehard World of Wheels/Autorama/Cavalcade of Customs show car participants vie for, and Chicago is where their accumulated points from (at least) four prior ISCA shows reveal just who comes out on top.
To be placed in the Championship Finals, competing vehicles must have been awarded an Outstanding and/or Best in Category in four of the qualifying shows, with at least 8 championship points earned in the process. There are five different categories of vehicles competing: Street Rod, Custom, Truck, Street Machine, and Restored. Our following gallery of Finalists has varieties of each of the competing categories—but come Sunday, that will be reduced to just five…the individuals crowned ISCA Champions.
