Cache Valley Rod Run has been an integral part of the Salt Lake City region of Utah since 1982…it’s a tradition that is looked forward to by locals and hot rodders alike. The Cache Valley event is held at the Cache County Fairgrounds and its combination of open grassy space and plenty of thick shade trees make for an ideal setting. Couple this with plenty of vendors and event activities and this three day event (Thursday through Saturday) is plenty of action for all rodders in attendance.

The club is made up of approximately 50 families who all pitch in to help dad with his hobby and obligation to pull off the largest rod run in the state of Utah. What started out as Logan’s Run (Logan, Utah is city where all the action emanates from) it became the Cache Valley Cruise-In in 1991; making this year the 35th Annual Cache Valley Cruise-In.

The event has the Show & Shine, In-Valley Poker Run, games for little ones (and big ones!), Main Street Parade (entire Main Street is shut down and only hot rods cruise back and forth much to the delight of the entire town), awards and much, much more. The staff of Street Rodder has been to the event back in the ‘90s and now we have made it a regular stop for the past four or five years and our favorite event during the three-day event is the US-89 Cruise to Bear Lake where a mini show exists along with food and entertainment. The event is a popular destination for Utah rodders but many other rodders should put this on their “bucket list” of events to attend. It’s for sure a great rod run but it turns into a great vacation destination for the entire family…now that’s a win-win.
